Jasper Community Arts to host summer ARTventures

Jasper Community Arts will be hosting another summer of fun with the arts.

Visual ARTventures will be offered for six weeks this summer. Four weeks in June, 6-10, 13-17, 20-24, 27-July 1 and two weeks in July, 11-15 and 18-22.

Classes being offered in clay include Clay Creations, Junior and Clay Creations, Senior for students K through 8th grade.

The clay class, Let’s Learn Together-Clay Class will be offered to parents and children pairs, 6 years of age and older.

The craft/painting classes consist of From Doodles to Masterpieces, pARTy animals, Canvas Creations, Art Your Hearts Out, AbraCadabra Art, and Endless Summer.

Both morning and afternoon classes will be offered at the Satellite Arts Space (located in the basement of the Jasper Pool, 1405 Bartley Street). Cost of the classes will vary.

In the Adult ARTventures, middle school students, high school students, and adults will enjoy an array of painting and drawing classes.  Classes in June being offered are Pinterest-ACTUALLY-DO-IT-Yourself, Catch the Wave, and Paint the Town. Classes in July will be offered as well; Art Hodgepodge and Outdoor Drawing. Classes will take place at the Satellite Arts Space.

Classes are held at the Satellite Arts Space in the basement of the Jasper pool.

Registration deadline for June classes will be Wednesday, May 25th, and Wednesday, June 29th for July classes.
