Jasper Chamber announces new board members
The Jasper Chamber of Commerce will kick off 2021 with the first meeting of the Board of Directors on Tuesday, January 19.
Goals and objectives will be shared and committees formed. The Jasper Chamber board and staff will use action items from a newly created Comprehensive Plan to move forward with ways to generate excitement and meet the needs of the membership and to grow the membership over the course of the next 12-18 months.
The Jasper Chamber Board of Directors is comprised of members of the Chamber in the categories of Manufacturing, Retail, Professional and At-Large. Meeting dates for the 2021 board are all in place – typically meeting at 7:45 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
Executive Committee members for 2021 are: President – Kate Schwenk of Jasper Engines & Transmission; Vice-President – Ruger Kerstiens of Premier Property Management; Secretary – Ted Miller ofMemorial Hospital and Health Care Center; and Treasurer – Bernie Kreilein of Indiana Furniture.
Other board members are: Travis Mundy of Meyer Distributing, Mark Fierst of City of Jasper; Christian Blome of VUJC; Tom Moorman of Jasper Park & Rec.; Mike Horney of Hoosier Business Machines; Mary Leah Siegel of Kimball Electronics; Patrick Uebelhor of Uebelhor & Sons; Denise Izzolena of Fairfield Inn & Suites; Michelle Renner of Kimball International; Morgan Thewes of Purdue University; Adam Wendholt of MasterBrand Cabinets; Nita Patel of Dunkin’ Jasper; Theresa Begly of Smithville and Brian Smith of SVB&T.
Staff Members are: Executive Director Nancy Eckerle and Office Manager Janet Beckman.
