Jasper Board of Public Works promotes Hettinger to sergeant

The Jasper Board of Public Works and Safety approved promoting Doug Hettinger as the Jasper Police Department’s new sergeant.

Mayor Terry Seitz said that they still have two openings in the Police Department, one left by retiring Sergeant Jeff Carie and one from the resignation of Officer Dave Drew.

Those two openings are in the process of being filled, but the application deadline is this Friday.

If you know of anyone who would like to apply for the position of Jasper City Patrolman, contact the Department of Personnel, Loss & Safety by calling 482-4255.
