Jasper begins repaving Thursday
Due to circumstances beyond the city’s control with the contractor, this project is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 24 instead of the previously stated date of Wed. Sept. 23
The Jasper Street Dept sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience which this may cause.
The following Streets are scheduled to the first area being done on Thurs. Sept. 24.
- Robert St. from 13th to 14th
- Dorbett St. from 13th to 14th
- Howard Dr. from Northwood to 33rd
- Scott Rolen Dr. from 5th St to south end
- St. John St. from 4th St to 6th St
With the following streets to be done on Friday, Sept 25
- Wilson St. from 13th to 14th
- 5th St. from Clay to US 231
The following Restrictions apply:
All vehicles must be removed from the affected streets & out of driveways, should residents intend to leave throughout the day of Preservation to their street, as these streets will be closed during this process, and motorists will not be allowed to travel on them.
The street being processed, should however, re-open each evening, depending on drying conditions.
All residents will be notified via a door hanger, the day prior to their street being processed.
**NOTE: There will be a lot of switching from street to street as drying conditions & traffic flow will be continually assessed.**
