Jasper Arts celebrates Youth Art and opens special exhibit in Black Box Theatre

Sabrina Harris and her sons, Gage (9) and Crew (7), inspected some clay figures on display at the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center. Both boys had art on display.

Thursday evening more than 740 people streamed through the galleries of the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center to view the work of Dubois County students on display in two galleries.

Along with the celebration for the young artists in our county, Artist Fernando Lozano’s work ‘Portrait of the Sea’ was featured with music provided by students from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Mr. Lozano’s work can be viewed as a special exhibit on display in The Black Box Theater.

Here are some images from last night’s celebration.
