Janice Sue Blackgrove, 74

Janice Sue Blackgrove, 74, Jackson, Mich., died Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, in Jackson, Mich.

She was born in Duff on Feb. 13, 1940, to Louis and Edna  (Jones) Hochmeister.

She was a lifelong member of Cascades Baptist Church and was the secretary at Jackson Christian School for 19 years.

Her husband, Donald Blackgrove, died in 2000.

She is survived by a daughter, Sue Bennett and husband Chris; two sons,  Jeff Blackgrove and wife Ruthie and Mark Blackgrove and wife Amy; a sister, Retta Ferguson; three brothers, Gordon, Larry and Noble Hochmeister; and five grandchildren.

Her brother Fred preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at Cascades Baptist Church Tuesday December 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial is at Roseland Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church, Monday 4-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Jackson Christian School.
