Janice A. Kreilein, 86, St. Anthony
Janice A. Kreilein, 86, of St. Anthony, passed away at 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Janice was born in St. Anthony, Indiana, on February 25, 1940, to Joseph and Marcella (Wibbels) Bromm.
She married Maxim “Max” Kreilein on October 21, 1961, in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana. He preceded her in death on September 10, 2009.
She retired from the St. Anthony Water Department after many years of service.
Janice was a member of Divine Mercy Parish – St. Anthony Catholic Church and their Christian Mothers, the American Legion Post #493 Auxiliary, and a member of the St. Anthony Community Center.
She enjoyed reading and spending time with family, especially visiting with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Kreilein (Karen) of Huntingburg and Scott Kreilein (Carol) of Boonville; one daughter, Marcia Helfrich (Jeff) of Evansville; two grandchildren, Kaci Ketzner (Brad) and Aaron Kreilein (Colleen); two great-grandchildren, Crew and Quinn Ketzner; two sisters, Rita Kunkler of Cape Coral, Fla., and Eileen Lee (Joe) of St. Anthony; three brothers, Ralph Bromm (Norma) of St. Anthony, Delmar Bromm (Doris) of Huntingburg, and Allen Bromm (Jan) of St. Anthony.
Preceding her in death, besides her husband, were her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Janice A. Kreilein will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Mass time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana.
