Janel A. Fuhrman, 45

Janel A. Fuhrman, 45, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2014, at home.

Janel was born in Jasper, Indiana on November 7, 1968 to Kenneth and Dorothy (Krodel) Fuhrman.

Janel was a 1987 graduate of Loogootee High School and a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance. Janel worked at DC Broadcasting. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano, and she loved to read.

She is survived by her parents, Dorothy and Kenneth Fuhrman, of Loogootee; three sisters, Kim Olry, and her husband Martin, of Fishers, Tammy Dianovsky, and husband Rick, Chicago, Ill., and Deanna Baur, and her husband Charles, of Holland; one brother, Nathaniel Fuhrman of Jasper; seven nieces and nephews, Kyle and Matthew Olry, Miranda and Victor Dianovsky, and Emma, Lauren Grace, and Lauren Taylor Okesson.

Preceding her in death are one sister, Shannon Okesson and one brother, Simon Fuhrman.

Funeral services for Janel A. Fuhrman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church.
