Jamison “Jayme” Michael Beard, 26, Gentryville

Jamison “Jayme” Michael Beard, 26, of Gentryville, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023.

Jayme was born on February 24, 1997, in Jasper, Indiana to Joey Beard and Michelle (Toby) Stevens.

Jayme worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation. Jayme had a heart of gold and dearly loved his son, Carter. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and was a Drake Ambassador. 

Jayme would give the shirt off his back to anyone he knew and had a contagious laugh and smile.  He also helped with the Little Yellow House of Gentryville, Indiana. The family would like to thank his crew, with whom he hunted ducks with, for their love and support.

He was preceded in death by his father-grandfather, Michael K. Case; his grandparents, James Toby and William Beard; and his uncle, Ray Matheis.

Jayme is survived by his son, Carter James Beard; mom-Granny, LaVon (Spencer) Case; mother, Michelle Stevens; father, Joey Beard and his wife, Victoria; sister, Leslie Kiesling and her husband, Jon; brother, Earl Stevens; grandmother, Henrietta Toby; fiancé, Megan Hopf and her daughter, Kennedy; many extended family and friends. 

Services are at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana. Burial is in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Gentryville, Indiana.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the funeral home.
