James Michael Harris, 65

James Michael Harris, 65, of Huntingburg, passed away Sunday October 27, 2013.

He was born March 17, 1949 to Charles and Wilma (Young) Harris in Perry County. James married Carolyn S. Rogier on April 15, 1967 in St. Augustine Church in Leopold.

James is survived by his wife, Carolyn; his mother Wilma L. Harris of Leavenworth; one son, John M. Harris and his wife Cynthia of Huntingburg; one daughter, Tammy S. Greulich and her husband Dave of Ferdinand; three sisters, Linda Terry of English, Faye Billman and her husband Richard of Allegan, MI, Sandy Zeller and her husband Mike of English; two brothers, Gene Harris of Santa Claus and Darrell Harris of Huntingburg; and three grandchildren, Amanda Hoppenjans, Melissa and Jessica Greulich.

James was employed by Kimball 11th Avenue plant for 46 years. He was a former member of Crossroads Methodist Church and he enjoyed camping and fishing.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 7-9:30 a.m. at Becher Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Becher Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Ferdinand Church Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
