James Mac “Jim” Hughes, 68, Illinois

James Mac “Jim” Hughes, 68, died at 4:30 a.m., Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Creve Couer, Missouri as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident three weeks prior.

He is survived by his siblings and their spouses, George and Mary LeFaivre of Philo, Ill., Jeff Hughes of Grafton, Jon and Donna Hughes of Grafton, Cindy and Art Harris of Fieldon, and Donna and Chad Weisman of Huntingburg; two sisters-in-law, Margie Hughes of Kane and Becky Hughes of Fieldon.

Per his wishes, cremation rights have been accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a..m., Tuesday at the Grafton American Legion followed by a luncheon

Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of arrangements.
