James M. Kellams, 88

James M. Kellams, 88, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Newburgh.

He was born January 26, 1925 to Hassell and Katherine Kellams of Huntingburg, Indiana.

James was a retired farmer; enjoyed the outdoors; and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Alfred Kellams.

James is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lucille M. (Haas) Kellams; two daughters, Cynthia (E.B.) Wannemuehler and Linda (Stanley) Schaefer; one sister, Louise Dischinger; four grandchildren; one great grandson; and two nephews.

Private family funeral services and burial will be held for James by the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.
