James G. Seger, 65

James G. Seger, age 65, of Bretzville, Indiana lost his battle to cancer at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at home.
Jim was born in Dubois on January 23, 1948 to John and Martha (Lannan) Seger.
He married Marsha Huff on June 24, 1972 in Birdseye Christian Church.
Jim retired from Kimball where he had worked for 41 years.
He was a member of the Dubois Community Club and he formerly coached little league.
He was an avid outdoorsman and he loved attending shooting matches and playing cards. He was also an avid Cincinnati Reds and IU Basketball fan.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha Seger of Bretzville; two sons, Mark Seger, of St. Anthony and David Seger, and his companion Renee Polston, of Bretzville; one daughter, Carla Slauter, and her husband Carey, of Greenwood, Ind.; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three sisters, Earlene Stevens, of Stillwater, Ok., Karen Brown, and her husband Roger, of Huntingburg, and Brenda Colber, Birdseye; four brothers, Jeff Seger, and his wife Nelda, Winamac, Ind., Gary Seger, and his wife Michelle, Jasper, Mike Seger, and his wife Diana, Celestine, and Pat Seger, and his wife Vicki, Bretzville.
Preceding him in death by one brother Ricky Seger.
Funeral services for James G. Seger will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Cox Cemetery in Kyana, IN. Pastor Jeff Seger will officiate.
Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday (December 20, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
