James E. Tevault, 74
James E. Tevault, age 74, passed away at 3:05 a.m. Sunday (July 8, 2012) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born July 10, 1937 in Pike County, Indiana to Herbert and Ethel Lee (Bennett) Tevault. He married Elnora Leister Popp in Jasper, Indiana February 9, 1974.
Jim retired as a maintenance supervisor at Old Ben Coal Company in Pike County. He was a US. Army veteran serving in Germany. He is a member of the V.F.W. Post 3587 in Petersburg and the American Legion Post 115 , Winslow, Indiana.
His hobbies were restoring old tractors and fishing.

Funeral services for Jim Tevault will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (July 11, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville, Indiana. Petersburg V.F.W. Post # 3587 will conduct military grave side rites. Rev. Henry Leeka will officiate.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
