Jacqueline Marie “Jackie” Tanner, 66
Jacqueline Mary Tanner, age 66 passed away at 7:20 a.m. Thursday (September 1, 2011) at her home in Jasper.
She was born in Manchester England to Charles and Muriel (Wood) Schnellenberger.
She married Terry L. Tanner on July 11, 1964 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg, Indiana.
Jackie was an Instructional Aide at 5th Street elementary School in Jasper for many years also was a Matron at the Dubois County Security Center in Jasper.
She is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where she was in the choir and also a Lector and Eucharistic Minister and CRHP – Daughters of Isabella -St. Anne’s Society – St. Vincent’s DePaul Society – Dubois County Leukemia Society – Indiana Sheriff Association and the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

- One son, Chris Tanner and spouse Audrey, Jasper, IN

- Eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Caleb and Keyla Lehman, Elizabeth and Olivia Tanner and Bethany, Evan and Katie Brenneman.
- Two sisters, Mrs. Ron (Andrea) “DeeDee” Nolan, Greenfield, IN and Stephanie Tropp, Huntingburg, IN
Preceding her in death is her mother Muriel Schnellenberger.
Funeral services for Jacqueline Tanner will be held at 11:00 Monday (September 5, 2011) in St. Joseph Catholic Church with entombment in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Combined Rosary will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday by the D of I’s, St. Anne’s Society.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Leukemia Society, Vista Care Hospice or to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper.
