Ivan Tevault, 93

Ivan Tevault, age 93, of Jasper, Indiana, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 11:10 a.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 at his residence in Jasper.
He was born September 18, 1918 in Pike County, Indiana to H. Herbert and Mary (Bellamy) Tevault. Mary passed away when Ivan was a young child; he was subsequently raised by his second mother, Ethel (Bennett) Tevault. He was united in marriage to Wilma L. McClure on April 22, 1950 in Holland, Indiana.
Ivan retired after 34 years with Holland Dairy Industries where he was plant manager for the Holland Dairy operations in Orleans, Indiana. He lived and worked in Orleans from 1965-1985; after which, he and his wife moved to Huntingburg. He was a member of the Huntingburg United Methodist Church and the V.F.W. Post #2366. Ivan was a veteran of World War II and served in the Field Artillery of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by: one daughter, Lana Faye Tevault; four brothers – Marvin, George, Hardy and James Tevault; and three sisters – Mabel Green, Irene Reller and Doris Epley.

- Helen (Don) Hauke – Princeton, IN
by (2) grandchildren and (1) great grandchild.
Funeral services for Ivan Tevault will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Monday, August 27, 2012 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Augusta Cemetery in Augusta. The Rev. Paula Young Mayberry and Rev. Charles Kielhorn will officiate the services. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-7:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Sunday.
