Isidro Sulayao, 81, of Jasper

Isidro Sulayao, 81, of Jasper, passed away at 9:40 a.m., on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at The Timbers of Jasper.

He was born January 1, 1937, in Samar, Philippines, to Simeon and Genoveva (Adorna) Sulayao.  Mr. Sulayao was a fisherman by trade.  He enjoyed playing blackjack at the casino and watching his grandchildren participate in school sporting events.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Sulayao; by two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by three daughters, Rubie Fromme of Jasper, Riza Sulayao of Norfolk, Va. and Rebecca Butler of Jasper; four sons, Renato, Rolando, Raul and Rafael Sulayao, all residing in the Philippines; one brother; three sisters; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Isidro Sulayao will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Central Christian Church in Huntingburg.  His cremated remains will be returned to the Philippines and interred at Heritage Park in Fort Bonifacio.

Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.
