Irma V. Kluemper-Mundy, 69, of Bretzville, Indiana, passed away at 7:42 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Irma was born in Ferdinand Indiana on February 16, 1946 to Joseph C. and Mathilda (Schulthies) Braunecker. She married Cyril H. Mundy on October 12, 2001. He preceded her in death on December 27, 2013.

Irma worked for Towns Promotions for 15 years as the executive salesperson. She was later self employed as a pre-school teacher for Bright Kids Prechool for seven years.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, and a member of the Ferdinand Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed gardening, attending sporting events and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Voges and her husband Allen of Bretzville; two sons, Scott Kluemper and his wife Annette of Monrovia and Kevin Kluemper and his wife Rebecca, all of Monrovia; three stepdaughters, Bonnie Meadows and her husband Bob, Debbie Schmitt and her husband Curt, and Jane Bonifer and her husband Phil, all of Ireland; one stepson, Rodney Mundy and his wife Kim of Ireland; nine grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Begle of Ferdinand; four brothers, Leroy Braunecker and his wife Betty of Ferdinand, Charles Braunecker and his wife Norma of Ferdinand, Joseph Jr. Braunecker and his wife Janet of St. Meinrad, and Gene Braunecker of Bretzville; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death beside her husband were two brothers, Robert Braunecker and James Braunecker.

Funeral services for Irma V. Kluemper-Mundy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2015, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, with entombment to follow at a later date at Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church on Monday.
