Indiana Furniture expands and realigns regional sales leadership as Patty Streiner retires
Indiana Furniture is pleased to announce a strategic expansion and realignment of its Regional Sales Management team in anticipation of Patty Streiner’s upcoming retirement as Eastern Regional Manager. This transition welcomes two experienced professionals, Frank Verhagen and Phil Englert, who will join Tammy Wessel in leading the company’s independent representative network nationwide.
Patty Streiner began her sales career in plumbing supplies, later transitioning to office supplies and furniture before joining Indiana Furniture in 2008. Reflecting on her time with the company, Streiner shared, “Indiana Furniture has changed so much since I joined the company. Advancements in our product designs, marketing, technology, and manufacturing have transformed our business over the years. It has been exciting to be part of it. I’m grateful to have worked alongside such a talented and dedicated team that includes our sales representatives and supplier partners.”

Phil Englert will assume the role of Northeast Regional Manager. A veteran of the contract furniture industry with over two decades of experience and a strong background in sales leadership, dealer development, and market strategy, Phil is known for his collaborative approach and commitment to customer success. Working closely with internal teams, Phil will strengthen dealer partnerships, deliver customer-centric solutions, and expand key markets.
Stepping into the role of Western Regional Manager, Frank Verhagen has over 30 years of sales experience spanning the education, healthcare, and corporate sectors. His leadership roles within the contract furniture industry over the past decade have been marked by consistent growth and the cultivation of long-standing professional relationships. Recognized for his unwavering reliability, integrity, and strategic mindset, Frank will bring an enthusiastic dedication to customer support and development.
Tammy Wessel, a 24-year veteran of Indiana Furniture, continues to bring deep understanding of the company’s people, processes, and customers to her role as Regional Sales Manager. Having progressed from Sales Support to leading multiple operational teams, Tammy has served as a Regional Sales Manager since 2018. With the addition of Frank and Phil, Tammy will now concentrate on the Southeastern United States.
