Ina O. Weisman, 98

Ina O. Weisman, 98, of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 12:40 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014, in St. Charles Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born in Pike, County Indiana on June 4, 1915 to Luther and Ethel (Lemond) Dorsey. She married Edgar A. Weisman October 7, 1933. He preceded her in death October 9, 1992.

Ina was a homemaker and member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township where she served on many committees.

She enjoyed quilting, playing cards and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the (WELCA) Women’s Lutheran Church of America.

She is survived by her daughter, Delores Hoffman of Jasper; son, Richard Weisman and his wife Barbara, of Jasper; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Dorsey of Petersburg.

Funeral services for Ina O. Weisman will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 29 2014, in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Rev. Catherine Burnette will officiate.

Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
