Immigration seminar offered for businesses

Local employers are invited to a course on changes to U.S. Immigration Law and Policy through a seminar offered by the Jasper Chamber.

On Thursday, April 20 at 9 a.m., Attorney Royal Gearhart of KDDK will offer insight into the President’s signed and pending Executive Orders affecting U.S. immigration. Royal will also cover judicial challenges to these orders, as well as potential Congressional remedies.

Royal works to find effective solutions to business and individual clients’ legal issues using his unique mix of analytical ability and creativity. He has extensive knowledge and experience with employment-based immigration law and family-based immigration law. The seminar will cover the following topics:

  • Recommendations regarding international travel for foreign national employees
  • Future of DACA
  • Possible changes to H-1B and other temporary work-based visa programs
