Ilene B. Goodhue, 88

Ilene B. Goodhue, 88, of Jasper, passed away at 9:38 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at The Timbers of Jasper.

Ilene was born on Willis Creek, Kentucky, on February 9, 1927 to Jack and Florence (Dicken) Guinn. She married Johnny Goodhue on July 8, 1954. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2000.

Ilene was a homemaker. She loved country music and horse racing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, James Goodhue and his wife Heather of Jasper and John Goodhue and his wife Mary of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren, Jace and Jack Goodhue, Caitlin and Skylar Goodhue; one great granddaughter, Kya Goodhue.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are one granddaughter, Jennifer Goodhue, and two brothers, Wendell and Junior Guinn.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
