Iceley Cannon, age 2 of Petersburg, gained her wings and went to be with her grandpa and uncle at 3:14 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

She was born at Nortons Hospital in Louisville, Ky. on May 31, 2010 to Joe and Bridget (Maxwell) Cannon.

Iceley had spent the past ten weeks at Riley’s Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis after open heart surgery in September and most recently at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh to be closer to her family. Iceley will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered for her courageous fight, her love of live, and participating in pageants by all those who knew her.

She was a member of the Petersburg Free Methodist Church, the Smile on Downs Syndrome of Evansville, the Downs Syndrome Organization of Louisville , Ky, the Mended Little Hearts of Evansville, IN, the Honeybees Youth Group, Petersburg, IN. and participated in the “Buddy Walk” in Evansville, IN.

Iceley’s motto she lived by was “Live Life to the Fullest”

Uncles – Randal K. Cannon and Bradley Maxwell; Aunts- Lori Ann and Cori Ann Cannon.

Funeral services for Iceley Cannon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday (December 1, 2012) at the Petersburg Free Methodist Church in Petersburg, IN with burial to follow in the Otwell Cemetery. Pastor Mark Schlechty will officiate.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, (November 30, 2012), at the Petersburg Free Methodist Church in Petersburg, IN, and also from 9:00 a.m. to the 11am service time at the church on Saturday. Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
