Ice Skating, annual Candlelit Parade this weekend in Huntingburg

Destination Huntingburg will be hosting our annual Ice Skating in the Park: Friday December 6 from 5 to 9 p.m.EST and Saturday December 7 from 12 to 7 p.m. EST.

$5/per person for unlimited skating (space permitted), adult and children skate sizes onsite.

Then on Saturday, enjoy your downtown and do a little Christmas shopping, grab a bite to eat, and then join us Saturday evening for A Christmas Journey, Candlelit Christmas parade along 4th street.

Join the procession at St. Mary’s Catholic church and sing carols outside OR join alongside the Huntingburg Latino Choir at the Huntingburg City Hall for carols at 6:30 p.m.

At 6:45, the parade will head down 4th street by candlelight as the SHS Marching Raiders play Christmas music and Santa leads the way in the firetruck to Salem United Church of Christ.

Please head inside the Salem church for A Starry Night in Bethlehem. You can experience the marketplace with hands-on crafts and visit with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus.Santa will also be onsite to visit with the children. This is a free event for the whole community, and we hope to see everyone there.
