Huntingburg woman dies in I-64 accident
A Huntingburg woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident at about 7:16 a.m. Sunday.
According to the Warrick County Sheriff’s Department, Abbey L. Schurz, 31, of South Chestnut Street, was eastbound on I-64 near mile-marker 39 in 2012 Kia Optima when the car veered of the south side of the interstate.
Schurz was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle when it overturned.
Indiana State Police are assisting in the investigation.
