Huntingburg woman arrested for dealing marijuana at Event Center

Huntingburg — Huntingburg police charged 19-year-old Alejandra Mora with several drug related charges after they found her with a digital scale and baggies of marijuana behind the Huntingburg Event Center early Friday morning.
Police were dispatched to the event center at about 12:06 a.m. for the report of a suspicious vehicle at the back of the building. When they arrive, they located Mora walking near the back of the building.
She told officers she had been sitting on the back steps of the event center. While police were checking the area, they found a digital weighing scale, numerous small plastic bags, and other drug paraphernalia on the steps where Mora indicated she had been sitting.
According to authorities, when they questioned Mora about the items on the steps, she admitted to having marijuana on her person. Officers located 12 baggies containing about a gram of marijuana and a single baggy containing two grams of marijuana on Mora’s person during a search.
Police also searched Mora’s vehicle and found two more digital weighing scales.
Mora faces misdemeanor charges of intent to deal marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. She was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
