Huntingburg to make announcement on workforce housing

Monday, Huntingburg is set to make a major announcement on the development of workforce housing as part of the city’s Stellar Community projects.

Included in the city’s proposed projects for the Stellar designation was the development of workforce housing in response to the identified needs of the community. The city is working with Boxer Girl, LLC, to develop the housing.

Jane Hendrickson, CEO of Boxer Girl, will join Mayor Denny Spinner in making the announcement at the future site of the development on the west side of North Chestnut Street between 17th and 19th streets at 9 a.m. Monday.

The public is invited to attend the announcement.
