Huntingburg Police Department adds new full-time officer

The Huntingburg Police Department announced the hiring of Logan Brown as the department’s newest full-time police officer.

Logan was officially sworn in on Monday as a full-time officer. He originally joined the department as a reserve officer in February and, following his exemplary service and dedication, has now transitioned into a full-time role. He will begin field training immediately.

Logan brings a strong background in service and discipline, having recently completed his military career as a U.S. Marine. He served with honor and distinction since 2019 before returning to civilian life earlier this year.

Originally from Texas, Logan and his wife—who is a Huntingburg native—relocated to the area after his military service. The department is excited to welcome Logan and is confident he will be a valuable asset to both the team and the community.
