Huntingburg man charged with sexual misconduct with a minor

Huntingburg Police Department arrested Christopher Orellana Correa, 21, of Clay Street, Huntingburg, for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female.

According to Det. Sgt. Christian Gogel, he and the Dubois County Department of Child and Family Services launched an investigation on March 4 after receiving a report of sexual misconduct with a minor that occurred in January.

On Friday, Gogel spoke with Christopher Orellana Correa at the Huntingburg Police station for further investigation. After the interview, Christopher Orellana Correa was charged with a Level 5 felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor.

He was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center on a $2500.00 bond.
