Huntingburg Library announces special hours around construction

The Huntingburg Public Library will be closed on the following days due to electrical work required for its current renovation project: Thursday and Friday, Jan. 9 and 10; and Monday through Wednesday, Jan. 13 through 15.

The library will be open on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Patrons may use the book drop to return materials during this closure, with returns backdated accordingly. Patrons may also call the library (812-683-2052) prior to the closures to renew materials as well.

The public is also cordially invited to take a break from the ice and snow at the library throughout the day on Wednesday, Jan. 8. Complimentary hot coffee, tea, and cocoa are available upon request. 

The library will reopen for normal hours on Thursday, Jan. 16.
