Huntingburg Chocolate Stroll this Friday and Saturday
The Huntingburg Chocolate Stroll is Friday, February 7th, and Saturday, February 8th, in Historic Downtown Huntingburg on Fourth Street.
Fourth Street will be closed to vehicular traffic for all the downtown activities.
Participating merchants will be open late, with in-store specials, restaurant dining deals, and chocolate sips and bites on Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Participating merchants are as follows: Bean to Sprout, Butcher & Barrel, The Downtown Emporium, Ella & Ivy, Firefly Boutique, Gehlhausen’s Flowers & Gifts, Gypsy Girls, The Huntingburg Grind Coffee & Tea Company, Mama T’s Italian Steakhouse, My Little Soap Shop & Paint Your Own Pottery, The Rugged Foot, and Salon on 4th.
Pick up your “Participating Merchants Shopping Card” at any of the participating merchants beginning February 7th.
Make a purchase of $10 or more at 5 of the participating merchants and be entered to win a $50 Merchants Association gift card. Make a purchase of $10 or more at ALL of the participating merchants and be entered to win a $100 merchants association gift card. Have your shopping card stamped or initialed with each qualifying purchase. Leave your shopping card at any participating merchants when you’re finished at the Chocolate Stroll. Drawing will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, and winners will be notified.
Igloo Activities are available for reservation for $50 an hour for up to six people. Choose from several different craft activities, including a heart canvas painting kit for each person, a beaded friendship bracelet-making kit for each person, a Valentine wood ornament coloring kit for each person, a string art heart or flower kit for each person OR one cookie decorating kit for the whole group. “Cupid’s Sweet Shoppe” will be open on Friday, 5 pm til 9 pm and Saturday, 10am til 8pm. Local vendors of homemade sweet treats will be set up inside of 423 East 4th St (Cupid’s Sweet Shoppe) selling their goodies.
Kylie Schepers Photography, LLC will be offering Valentine mini photo sessions on Saturday, 10 am to 3 pm. Reservations are not required; however, the schedule is filling up fast, so reservations are suggested. The link is below:

Live Music by Seth Thomas on Friday evening from 5 pm to 8 pm. Live Music on Saturday, 11 am to 1:30 pm by Connor Loveless AND Saturday, 4 pm to 7 pm by Loose Change.
Valentine S’mores Kits available for purchase to roast over the fire pits on the Street. Outdoor seating is available around the fire pits.
We will also have street games such as corn hole, connect four, Jenga, ax toss, and more, Face Painting and a Kissing Booth (staffed by the Puppies and Doggies of the Dubois County Humane Society) on Friday evening and Saturday, all day.
Girl Scout Troop #281 will sell boxes of cookies every Friday evening and Saturday at The Huntingburg Grind Coffee Shop.
Gehlhausen’s Flowers will have grab-and-go flower bouquets.
Historic Maple Grove Foundation will be selling soup tickets as a fundraiser. $20/gallon, vegetable beef soup.
Firefly Boutique will be hosting Fettered Permanent Jewelry on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm in their shop.
