Huntingburg Chamber Business Education Series addresses I-67 impact

I-67The I-67 development and its impact on Dubois County is the topic for the next Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce Business Education Series.

This event will take place at the Huntingburg Chamber Office located on the 2nd floor of the ONB Building at the corner of 4th and Main Streets on Wednesday, March 12th from 8-9 a.m.. This is a free event for Huntingburg Chamber members.

The topic of the event is “I-67 Development Corporation and what it means for Dubois County.” The agenda will include:

  • What is I-67?
  • What is the Mission of I-67 Development Corporation?
  • What does it mean for Dubois County and Business?
  • Where are we now?

Author Dan McNichol wrote in his book, The Roads that Built America, that, “As long as the Interstate is the highway supporting our society, economy, and national security, it will forever need to be the beneficiary of our attention and investment. The ribbon cuttings will never end!”

Hank Menke, President and CEO of OFS Brands and also President of the I-67 Development Coalition, will be the speaker.

Menke is also a member of Indiana’s Blue Ribbon Commission, which will determine the future of the next generation of roads, railway, waterway and air initiatives to be funded in Indiana over the next 10 years. He will discuss the importance of the project and the difference it will mean for our community.
