Hugo Ray Kitterman, 62

Hugo Ray Kitterman, age 62, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away at 8:58 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2013 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born May 24, 1950 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Kerlie and Helen (Dillard) Kitterman. He married Martha J. Miller on March 15, 1969 at St. Mary’s Church in Ireland. Hugo worked in construction, farming, and with the Department of Natural Resources. He was a member of the Victory Worship Center in Birdseye.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; a daughter and son who both died in infancy, Janie and Brian; one sister, Gail Van Winkle; twin brothers who died at birth, Jerry and Terry; and one granddaughter, Kara Kitterman.

He is survived by his wife, Martha J. Kitterman of Birdseye; two sons and two daughter-in-laws, Terry (Paula) Kitterman and Jeremy (Christina) Kitterman, both of Birdseye; one sister, Jo Ann Underhill of St. Croix, IN; and four grandchildren, three step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Hugo Kitterman will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye, Indiana. Pastor Gene Throop will officiate the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2 – 8 p.m., on Monday.
