A Holland resident was charged with operating while under the influence of a controlled substance after she hit a parked car and ended up upside down on Main Street.

According to deputies, Aundie N. Trambaugh of South 5th St., was westbound on Main Street in a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica at about 12:48 p.m. Trambaugh went left of center and struck a parked unoccupied Ford Edge owned by Margaret Rasche.

The impact was violent enough that it caused the Pacifica to roll onto its top in the middle of Main Street. Trambaugh had to be extricated from the Pacifica.

The Ford rolled into the Prairie Farms parking lot and struck a parked unoccupied 2009 Chevrolet truck belonging to James Ludwig of Lamar.

Trambaugh was transported to Memorial Hospital for a complaint of pain to her neck and face. A blood test indicated the presence of methamphetamine and marijuana. After being discharged from the hospital, she was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.

The Ford and Pacifica were both considered total losses. The Chevrolet truck had about a $1,000 in damages.

Holland Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders, Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services and a tow truck from Blesch Sales and Service responded to the scene.
