Holland man arrested for intimidation
Huntingburg officers arrested Christopher Barrett, 25 of Holland, on Sunday for counts of driving while suspended and intimidation.
Police were called to 307 N. Chestnut Street at 12:54 p.m. Sunday for a report that Barrett had threatened residents in the home and was on his way to start a fight. While police were there, Barrett arrived in a black Toyota Solara. Police witnessed him driving the car.
Officers checked Barrett’s record and determined his driver’s license was suspended with a prior conviction. While officers were arresting Barrett for driving while suspended, Barrett uttered a threat to the family, according to police.
Barrett was charged with a Level 6 felony count of intimidation and a Class A misdemeanor count of driving while suspended with a prior conviction. He was booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
