Holiday World holding job fair tomorrow

As the summer vacation season approaches full throttle, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari are preparing by hosting an Open Job Fair on Saturday.

“This season is going great – in fact we believe we have our friendliest seasonal staff ever,” says Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari General Manager Matt Eckert. “We have about 100 more positions to fill in order to be fully staffed. We’re looking for ride operators and sweepers, plus staff for foods, games, parking, and costumed characters. We’re like a small city – we have quite a variety of jobs available.”

The Open Job Fair is for applicants who are 16 and older, as the limited number of positions for 14 and 15 year olds are already filled. Retirees and other adults seeking seasonal employment are also encouraged to apply.

To apply, job seekers should first fill out an online application, available at HolidayWorld.com/Jobs and then attend the Open Job Fair on Saturday, July 7 anytime between 9:00am and 1:00pm Central Daylight Time. Applicants should park in the Employee Parking Lot on Highway 162; the Job Fair will be held in the red Employee Services building.

First-year employees earn a base rate of $7.25 to $8.15 an hour. Benefits include: a personal Season Pass, park food and merchandise discounts, free soft drinks, employee parties, weekly incentive programs, free admission to other parks, and more.
