Holiday Liquors bourbon charity raffle nets $16k for Operation Mind, Body, and Soul

Holiday Liquors’ seventh Bourbon Charity Raffle netted more than $16,720 to support the efforts of Operation Mind, Body, and Soul Corp, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders through its programs.
“We are incredibly grateful to Holiday Liquors and Wooden Keg Liquors for selecting Operation Mind, Body, and Soul Corp as the nonprofit recipient of their latest Bourbon Charity Raffle,” wrote the organization on its Facebook page. “Because of your generosity—and the support of everyone who participated—we are able to continue our mission of supporting Veterans’ mental health and wellness. This impact goes far beyond the donation. It helps us provide resources, connection, and hope to those who have served our country. Thank you for standing with us and our Veterans”
Our total donations from bourbon enthusiasts thus far since December 2019 is $92,750. These are from the December right-to-buy drawings, in-store purchases of Buffalo Trace bourbons and some bourbon donations from Holiday Liquors to other charity events.
The bourbon raffles are include highly sought-after bourbons like Pappy Van Winkle, Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, and several super rare bourbons. There were 37 bottles for this raffle including Pappy Van Winkle 20 year; Pappy Van Winkle 15 year; Van Winkle Reserve Rye; Rip Van Winkle 10 year; Buffalo Trace Antique Collection – W.L. Weller ($199.99); Buffalo Trace Antique Collection – George T Stagg; Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel; Little Book – The Infinite; and more.
Previous raffles have resulted in donations of over $74,000 to various charities. Past recipients include the Boy Scout Troop 185 Endowment, Next Steps Recovery Home, Dove House, Toys for Tots, Dubois County Special Olympics, Survivors of Suicide and Locking Arms for Suicide Awareness.
