History of Tea event supports repairs to Corning Heritage Center
Corning Heritage Center is sponsoring a presentation on tea for May 13 at 2:00 PM at Celtic Hall. Erin Doyle, board secretary and avid tea lover, will be presenting the history of tea: how it is brewed, the varies types of tea, plus more. The presentation will last approximately 90 minutes. We will be tasting five different teas and one herbal tea. Come and enjoy the lovely country setting, tea, sweets and fellowship.
Tea settings and different types of teas will be provided. Cookies and sweets to accompany your tea will be available.

All proceeds will go towards the Bell Tower Project.
The bell tower on Celtic Hall has had serious damage from the weather and has started to significantly deteriorate. Corning Heritage Center is currently fundraising for this project and has applied for a $50,000 grant from Indiana Heritage Center. The estimated cost of the repairs will be $60,000 plus. Additional fundraising opportunities will be coming soon.
