Highway department reports 15 roads impacted by flooding
The Dubois County Highway Department reports that 18 county roads have areas impacted by rising water levels from the Patoka River, Straight River, and numerous creeks and low-lying areas.
In District 1, Madison Township has seen some of the heaviest impacts, with closures along CR 150 North, CR 875 West, CR 800 West, CR 150 South, and Ell Creek Road — several of which run adjacent to the Patoka River and Little Flat Creek. Harb
The Dubois County Highway Department reports that 15 county roads remain closed due to rising water levels from the Patoka River, Straight River, and several creeks and low-lying areas — down from 18 closures reported earlier.
In District 1, Madison Township continues to see impacts with closures on CR 875 West, CR 800 West, CR 150 South, and Ell Creek Road, with several roads running adjacent to the Patoka River and Little Flat Creek. Harbison Township’s CR 600 North east of Kellerville Road also remains closed.

District 2 closures remain in the Bainbridge and Marion townships, where the Straight River and Patoka River continue to affect roadways. Meridian Road and CR 190 North in Bainbridge Township remain closed, along with CR 300 North and CR 175 East in Marion Township near their intersection.

In District 3, the Bainbridge and Patoka townships continue to deal with closures tied to the Patoka River, Ell Creek, Hunley Creek, and Bruner Creek. Old Huntingburg Road, two sections of CR 400 South, CR 130 West, Old Road 64, and 1st Street in Huntingburg west of CR 75 West all remain closed.
District 3

- Patoka Twp — 1st Street – Huntingburg, West of CR 75 West (Bruner Creek)
Motorists are advised to avoid flooded roads and never attempt to drive through standing water. Road conditions are being monitored and closures will be updated as water levels change.
