Highway Department applying chip seal to Ferdinand Road NW – Sunset Drive

The Dubois County Highway Department will begin its chip seal overlay process on Monday, July 6, 2026 (today), on Ferdinand Road Northwest and Sunset Drive. 

Work will take place starting at Ferdinand Road NW near Industrial Park Road and continue all the way through to Sunset Drive near U.S. 231.  Drivers can expect rolling road closures and will need to use an alternate route from Monday, July 6, 2026, through Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
