Highway department announces road closures on Ferdinand Road and Sunset Drive

The Dubois County Highway Department will begin its chip seal overlay process on Monday, June 29th, on Ferdinand Road Northwest and Sunset Drive.

Work will take place starting at Ferdinand Road NW near Industrial Park Rd and continue all the way through to Sunset Drive near U.S. 231.

Drivers can expect rolling road closures and should plan to use an alternate route from Monday, June 29, through Wednesday, July 1, 2026, or expect long delays when traveling through the area.
