High water impacting six county roads

With some areas seeing a little over an inch of rain (Kellerville area) and others seeing up to five inches (south of Jasper) in the past 24 hours, only six roads are closed due to high water.

The Dubois County Highway Department reports high water on the following county roads.

Meridian Road south of State Road 162 in Bainbridge Township

Hunley Creek is over County Road 400 South east of U.S. 231, County Road 130 West north of 400 South, and Old Road 64 west of Patoka Road in Patoka Township

Bruner Creek is over First Street in Huntingburgwest of County Road 75 in Patoka Township.

Indian Creek is over County Road 660 South east of County Road 75 in Patoka Township.
