High-dose flu clinic offered for older residents

Dubois County Health Department will be offering a drive-thru high-dose only flu clinic for individuals 65 years of age and older on Friday, September 4, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., rain or shine. 

High dose flu vaccine for these individuals is covered by Medicare or private health insurance.

Participants are asked to please approach the Health Department from the north side. The best method will be U.S. 231 to Division Road and then South on Saint Charles Street. 

Please drive into the rear parking lot of the Health Department at 1187 S. St. Charles Street and present your ID and Medicare/insurance card.

The Dubois County Health Department will be offering more flu clinics in the future, along with daily walk-in flu shots starting September 21, 2020, from 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Pediatric flu vaccinations will begin October 1, 2020. You may call 812-481-7056 with any questions.
