Herbert John Kolb, 95, Rockport, formerly of Dale

Herbert John Kolb, 95, Rockport, formerly of Dale, died on Oct. 31, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Rockport.

He was born December 5, 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to John and Katherine (Reis) Kolb.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Eiler) Kolb of Rockport; a daughter, Deborah Doan of Dale; two grandchildren, Eric Doan of Dale and Kyle Doan of Lake Charles, La.; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Michael at home.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rockport.
