Helena H. Goller, age 84, of Jasper, passed away at 1:05 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 2014, in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born in Jasper, Indiana April 2, 1929 to Edward and Eva (Baer) Breitweiser. She married Ralph Goller September 25, 1948, he preceded her in death July 22, 1999.

Helena was a waitress at the Jasper Knights of Columbus home in Jasper for many years. Also worked for Wabash Valley Produce in Dubois.

She is a member of ST. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois crossroads.

She enjoyed gardening and loved her kittens.

She is survived by two daughters, Marilee Lord and husband Bob, of Haysville, and Shirley Dillon and husband Chuck, of Dubois; one son, Roger Goller and wife Jenny, of Haysville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Hemmerlein and husband Harold, and Selma Neukam, both of Jasper; one brother, Edwin L. Breitweiser, of Jasper.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are two grandsons, Jeffery and Kelly Truelove. Also,one brother, Raymond Breitweiser who died in infancy and two sisters, Mary Lou Breitweiser, who also died in infancy and Genevieve Seitz.

Funeral services for Helena Goller will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2014, in St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery. The Rev. Mary Poston and the Rev. John Simmons will officiate.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel Hill Lutheran Church or to the Northwood Retirement Community.
