She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on January 18, 1935, to Millard and Maude French. She was the youngest of seven children.

She married Theron Seemann in Terre Haute in 1960.  He preceded her in death on March 20, 2015.

Helen spent her early career working at the Tribune-Star in Terre Haute, Indiana. After having her children, she was a stay-at-home mother until her last child began school. She then started working at Buehler’s IGA as their bookkeeper. She retired from there after 20 years.

Helen was active in anything that involved her children, never missing a school performance or a  sporting event. She possessed a love that knew no bounds. She dedicated her life to raising her children, providing them with unwavering support, guidance and affection. Her home was a gathering place for laughter and joy.

As the family expanded to grandchildren, Helen and Theron experienced a new depth of love. Her face would light up with pure joy every time she was surrounded by Bailey and Bryce. Their grandchildren were cherished beyond measure.

Helen is survived by her three children, Lea Watts and husband, Jerry, of Indianapolis, Jill Motluck of Brownsburg, Indiana and Jason Seemann and wife, Heather, of Kure Beach, N.C.; her two grandchildren, Bailey and Bryce Seemann of Charlotte, N.C., her sisters Annabelle Rightsel of Phoenix, Ariz. and June Farmer of Prairieton, Ind.
