Helen M. Kiefer, 86, Jasper

Helen M. Kiefer, 86, of Jasper, passed away at 9:44 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019, in The Waters of Huntingburg. 

She was born on February 21, 1933, in Jasper to Robert and Matilda (Burger) Kiefer.  

She worked at SIRS in Ferdinand for many years. She is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. She enjoyed her family and friends. 

She is survived by her is her nieces and caregivers Dorothy Hendrix of Huntingburg and Barbara Ramsey of Holland; several nieces and nephews. 

Preceding her in death are two sisters, Roselyn Schmidt and Anna Seifrig; eight brothers, a twin infant died in infancy, George, Ambrose, Otto, Hugo, John, Roman and Robert Kiefer. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2019 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. 

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
