Helen Hopster, 93
Helen Hopster, age 93 of Jasper passed away at 10:35 p.m. Friday (October 21, 2011) in Brookside Village in Jasper.
She was born in Celestine, Indiana on November 1, 1917 to Martin and Amelia (Kaiser) Schneider. She married Robert F. Hopster June 21, 1941. He preceded her in death on November 17, 1980.
Helen was a homemaker and member of St. Celestine Catholic Church and the St. Ann’s Society.
She enjoyed quilting and gardening and her flower garden.

- Mrs. Charles (Eloise) Berg, St. Anthony, IN
- Mrs. Tim (Kathie) Hohl, Jasper, IN
One son,
- Dennis “Denny” Hopster and spouse LaDonna , Fort Branch, IN
11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband are three sisters, Beatrice Randolph, Antoinette Schleirmacher and Frances Pershon.
Funeral services for Helen Hopster will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (October 25, 2011) in St. Celestine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Celestine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday (October 24, 2011) at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
Rosary service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday by the St. Ann’s Society.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Celestine Catholic Church – Vista Care Hospice or to a favorite charity.
