Healthy Tailgate event planned before upcoming Southridge/Heritage Hills game

Southwest Dubois and North Spencer schools will offer a free healthy tailgating event prior to this Friday’s varsity football game between the Southridge and Heritage Hills.

The event is being offered as part of the Upgrade initiative from the Welborn Baptist Foundation that aims to help students win in the classroom through healthy choices and physical activity.

The tailgate will be held in the lawn south of the football field and will begin at 6:00 p.m. (game time is 7:30) Friday, September 28, 2018.

Raider and Patriot fans will have the opportunity to sample healthy food options, gather recipes, and learn more about local nonprofits and businesses who also carry the mission of promoting better healthier lifestyles.
