Health dept. reports 14 new Covid-19 cases over weekend

Tuesday, the Dubois County Health Department reported 14 new cases of Covid-19 that were found over the holiday weekend.

Saturday, there were seven new cases reported; Sunday there were three, Monday there were three and Tuesday, one more was reported.

This brings the total number of cases in Dubois County to 877. Of the 877 cases, 756 have reportedly recovered and 17 residents have died. According to the health department, 7,377 residents have been tested.

The Indiana State Department of Health is reporting the seven-day average positivity rate for new tests is about 7.2 percent.
